The Story Behind ACCESSBRIDGE

Building Bridges Has Defined Ziyan’s Career

Ziyan’s work has consistently sat between worlds: science and policy, public health and business, global strategy and local execution. She founded ACCESSBRIDGE to help healthcare innovators navigate those intersections.

Her early academic and professional foundations at the London School of Economics and the World Health Organization gave her a rigorous grounding in health policy, health economics and global health systems. She also built a rich international professional network across public health, academia, policy and industry, which continues to shape her cross-border perspective.

She went on to build and lead market access functions and to direct pricing, reimbursement, policy and commercialization work across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and vision care. Her experience spans global, regional and local responsibilities, giving her a practical understanding of how strategy must evolve as it moves from headquarters to markets — and from a plan into execution.

Why She Founded ACCESSBRIDGE

Professional Market Access Guidance for Critical Growth Decisions

Ziyan founded ACCESSBRIDGE after repeatedly seeing promising healthcare products fall short of their access and growth potential—not because of weak science or limited commercial opportunity, but because critical decisions were made without sufficient market access expertise.

Too often, payer engagement, policy dialogue and market access initiatives are approached primarily through a commercial lens. Effective market access requires a distinct understanding of health systems, policy priorities, reimbursement mechanisms, evidence expectations and stakeholder incentives.

ACCESSBRIDGE was created to provide that professional guidance—helping healthcare companies connect evidence, policy and commercial objectives, engage payers and policymakers credibly, and translate market access strategy into practical execution.
